Pintxo hopping in San Sebastián

- Pintxos are the “Basque” take on tapas and thus much better than your standard Garlic Shrimp 😉

- One of the most fun things to do in San Sebastián is to walk around the old town and hit some of the iconic pintxo places. Here are some:
>Bar Antonio for their amazing tortilla de patatas (spanish omelette)
>Bar Nestor for their fresh local tomatoes, gernika peppers and their txuleta (T-Bone steak)
Bar Txepetxa for their myriad ways of serving anchovy pintxos
>Cuchara de San Telmo for their meat pintxos. Don’t go here if you are not a carnivore.
>Bar Sport for stuffed baby squid or a gilda (spicy pepper, anchovy and olive pintxo)
>And for dessert, go to La Viña. This is the original Basque Cheesecake.
Don’t forget to try some Txakoli wine or Basque Cider at every location.
